Shine a light on your living space this spring

In our last instalment we spoke about bringing a little bit of the indoors outside – celebrating this beautiful weather that is arriving quickly for us. This time around we will be talking about bringing some of the outdoors in.

There are so many fun ways to do this – by embracing summer trends, injecting in some bright spring colours, updating your look. Freshening up your home doesn’t always mean new furniture – you can change the tone of any room easily by simply changing a painting, bringing in a small chair, ottoman or a throw – any of these items can accomplish a shift in atmosphere. Shed the winter blahs by picking up some fun, new accessories – toss pillows in a robin’s egg blue or cheerful yellow as just one example of bringing in the sun.

Leave behind the reds and darker fall shades, and check out the Pantone colour pallet for spring – which includes some upbeat jazzy colours like Pink Peacock, Mango Mojito, Fiesta and the list goes on.

For homes with lots of large windows Sunbrella fabrics are fun to work with for shade and colour.  Able to cool the home, window awnings provide protection from the sun and come in a large selection of solid and patterned fabrics in fun season celebrating colours.

There are many ways to shift from the darker days of winter and fall – we are here if you need some help in sprucing up for spring!
